News - Safe Haven Training

As various of courses are fully booked for the coming 3 months I added the following courses to the training schedule

Friday 28 February Diesel
Sunday 2 March SRC
Sunday 30 March First Aid
Saturday 19 April 12 volt
Sunday 27 April Diesel

This is the absolute maximum I can do for the coming months.

So if you need one of these certificates for work, Fastned race or Yachtmaster exams I advise you to book asap, as there is absolutely no more room for any extra courses as are currently scheduled for the coming 3 months.

At the request of Belgium students, I also added weekends with Diesel and 12 volt courses behind each other (as of June up to and including November ) , so you can stay the nigh in a hotel in between and follow both courses in 1 weekend so your reducing travel.

Also First Aid, Diesel were added to the schedule for later in the year.

Last Saturday 7 persons completed the SRC exams, with just 1 wrong answer in the complete group. Excellent result lady en gentlemen. Perfect preparations were done and it shows during the written exam.

For the First Aid students I have added a First Aid playlist with currently 4 video's showing how to ;

- do an abdominal trust
- turn a casualty from the front to the back
- put a casualty in the recovery position
- place a tourniquet

Hopefully some previous First Aid student will refresh their memory and future First Aiders can be a bit prepared before they come to the RYA First Aid course.

As a lot of Diesel and First courses were fully booked, I was able to add
1 extra First Aid course at Sunday 16th March (8 persons max)
1 extra Diesel course at Sunday 18th May (6 persons max)

A weekend of First Aid, 12 volt en SRC. Excellent results for the SRC exams👍.

Just to inform you especially for those who need specific certificates (like RYA First Aid, RYA Diesel, VHF/SRC ) for Yachtmaster exams and for commercial jobs , if you want to book a course please check the training schedule. If you click on the specific date you see available spots for that date.
Currently 10 coming course dates are fully booked and I do not have any possibility to plan more/extra courses. So please book early to prevent any disappointments, plan ahead.

My premier partner DrivenbyNature has updated their training schedule. I regularly get questions for providing Yachtmaster theory courses, however I do not have the time in my schedule. However they regularly do! Have a look at their schedule for 2025.
