Stop the Bleeding, safe a live (First Aid)

For individuals who want to follow this course we advise to follow the RYA First Aid course we provide or go to the website of Stop de Bleeding.

This is a 2,5 / 3 hour training according to the Medical University of Amsterdam (VU) standard in which you learn to attend to a large bleeding by the use of pressure, hemostatic dressings and use of tourniquets.  No previous First Aid training required.   Maximum of 16 students. Each student will have his own tourniquet during the training. The course always continues, even with 1 student, that is not your risk but Safe Haven Trainings.

Price 75 euro (including VAT).

Check you insurance policy, several insurance companies provide a reimbursement of the costs, for example ONVZ extra fit (or higher) policies provides 75% of the course cost.
